[Best Pick] Chernobyl: What Is The Cost Of Lies?

Hello guys! Welcome back to [Best Pick] again! Do you enjoy the Carpool Karaoke I recommended last time?

Today I would like to recommend the TV series “Chernobyl” produced by HBO, which went viral a few months ago. The TV series is based on the accident of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in the former Soviet Union.

It has been well received since it came out.

Chernobyl dramatizes the story of the 1986 nuclear accident — one of the worst man-made catastrophes in history — and the sacrifices made to save Europe from unimaginable disaster.

What is the cost of lies? this question is posed in the first act of the play. It runs through the entire TV series and deserves our deep thoughts.

On April 26, 1986, the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine suffered a massive explosion that released radioactive material across Belarus, Ukraine and as far as Scandinavia and western Europe.

The local residents saw the beautiful “light” over the fire, but this beautiful light is deadly radiation. Birds will suddenly fall from the sky and die if they are exposed to radioactive dust in the air.

People who are in direct contact with radiation will quickly fall off their hair and teeth, their skin will begin to fester, and the organs of the body will gradually become necrotic. They can do nothing but to watch themselves to become a dead body.

For the former Soviet Union and even the world, this is an extremely difficult rescue, and it is also a rescue for hundreds of millions of people!
