    = someone who is not very clever

I knew she wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, but honestly – I didn’t know she was THAT dense!

  • Get something off your chest
    = talk about something that has been worrying you.

My doctor gave me the opportunity to talk and get things off my chest.


The night is still young. (From Nicki Minaj’s The Night Is Still Young)

  • The night is still young
    = It’s not very late at night and there’s plenty of time to have fun/party or do whatever.

A: We should go home now.

B: The night is still young. Let’s go to a bar and have fun.
