1. make someone do something
Today we are going to learn “make someone do something”. If you make somebody do something, you push or force them to do something.
eg:
(1). My boss made us work until 10 last night.
(2). You can’t make him go if he doesn’t want to.

2. protect from
Another phrase is “protect from”. It means to keep someone or something safe from harm, damage, or illness.
eg:
(1). You have to wear sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun’s rays.
(2). The cover protects the machine from dust.
