Today we are going to learn “talk someone into”. It means to persuade others to do something that they don’t want to do at first.
eg:
(1). She said she won’t come, and I can’t talk her into it.
(2). He talked me into marrying him. He also talked me into having a baby.
2. crack one up
Another phrase is “crack one up”. It means to make someone laugh out in spoken English.
eg:
A: Rick is so funny!
B: I know. He cracks me up all the time.
